Blog #3 - Creation App Mini-Lesson

Facilitating a mini-lesson on different types of apps is a great experience for expanding my horizons in the world of technology. Since the age of digital technology is consistently growing, it's important as an educator to try my best and keep up with its fast development.

Our group picked the app GoNoodle, which is an application that integrates movement and self-regulation with subjects learned in school. I think this is a great tool to use in K-3 since these grades generally rely on visuals to learn and are still building their working stamina, so they need lots of movement to regulate their bodies after learning!

  2. I always love reading your posts and reflections Maddie. You bring up such a great point with self regulation for the elementary classes. I also love your discussion about its usage for building stamina through movement. I know my Grade 3 practicum class would love to use the videos as brain breaks and to engage in whole body learning! Thanks for sharing. :)
